Environmental Roadmap
National Journey to Net Zero
At National, we are all aware of the global climate crisis currently facing everyone. From early 2022, National’s ‘Zero Carbon’ strategy accelerates the company’s existing science-based targets, reducing energy consumption and using renewable energy for both power and heat where possible, as well as switching to a 100% electric vehicle fleet six years ahead of schedule. As a further step to help shape our policy and find cross-sector solutions to rapidly decarbonise the UK economy, National will support our repair network in achieving their PAS2060 Carbon Neutral certification. To do this, we are devising a training solution for their employees to educate in a newer green way of working.

National's Investment In Technology
It is clear to us here at National that self-serve applications will soon become the norm in this industry, as they already are in many others. We are proud that National is one of a limited number of companies that can already provide end-to-end claims repair progression online, helping insurers to reduce staffing costs and making the claims process far more efficient.
